Fair trade from Ghana, Wild Herb African Shea Butter is unrefined, virgin, and sourced from a certified organic supplier. Handcrafted in local villages, our shea butter retains its natural nutty aroma and rich, creamy texture. Color may vary from light beige to deeper beige tones, and tiny pieces of hulls may be present—both are signs of authenticity and disappear when melted or applied.

Wild Herb Shea Butter is soft, gentle, and melts easily on contact with skin. Naturally packed with vitamins and unsaponifiables, it is ideal for lotions, creams, lip balms, and body butters. Historically used to improve skin elasticity, restore tone, soothe dryness, and nourish hair and scalp, it remains one of nature’s most versatile moisturizers.

In soap making, shea butter should be used as a superfatting material (2–5% of total oils) due to its high unsaponifiable content.
