Recommended usage rates: for CP, HP, or melt and pour soap making, use 1 oz. per pound. For candles, use 1 oz. per pound in paraffin and 1.5 oz. per pound in soy. Potpourri and oil burners can be used full strength or diluted, but always add water in oil burners or warmers. For lotions and massage oils, use 0.5 to 1 oz. per pound. For bath salts, use 0.25 oz. per pound. For perfumes, use 15 to 30 percent depending on preference. Flashpoints range from 180 to 200 degrees depending on the scent.
