Blue, Cobalt Ultramarine

Ultramarine Blue (now known as Cobalt Blue), is a colorant used in soap making. A very small amount goes a long way!

It gives your soap a brilliant blue tone.

You can color a product from a light pastel blue (baby blue) to a very dark intense deep blue. And it doesn't take much! Lighten it by using white pigment (titanium dioxide) or darken it by using black oxide, both are available in our store.

Makes various colors by mixing:

blue & red = purple
blue & green = teal, turquoise, aqua

Use with caution in M&P soap, as it may speckle.
