DIY Cellulite Reducing Body Scrub Recipe

It is important to take care of our largest organ, our skin.  Stretch marks and cellulite are common concerns.  Once you understand them, it is easier to tackle them.  They appear to be on the top of the skin, however, they are not.  This is why topical treatments alone do not work.  You need to exfoliate properly to get down to the problem. 

Coffee has become popular in skin care for good reason.  The caffeine contained in coffee stimulates the blood flow, which in turn promotes healing. 

1 cup Coffee Grounds (new or used)

2 Tbls. Sea Salt (texture is your choice)

3 to 4 Tbls. Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

2 to 3 Tbls. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

10 to 15 drops Grapefruit Essential Oil, if desired

Place dry ingredients in a bowl.  Lightly melt coconut, ensuring not to overheat. Pour in along with olive oil and stir well.  Make sure your scrub has a paste like texture.  Transfer into waterproof jar. On clean skin, apply to cellulite and rub in circular motion for 3 to 5 minutes.  For best results, leave this application on for 15 to 20 minutes.  Gently wipe away with a soft, damp cloth.  Apply a natural moisturizer or pure mango butter to the area 2 to 3 times per day. 

Please have patience, as this will take some time to notice a change.  It is important to continue this process, without missing sessions.
